Building Rehabilitation/Restoration Program

In addition to the infrastructure investments made in the North Gateway URA, most notably with the Portland/Fairgrounds Road Improvement Project, the City of Salem has created the Building Rehabilitation / Restoration Program to encourage business and property owners to improve their storefronts and properties and contribute to the area’s revitalization.

Funds are available as low-interest loans and matching, reimbursement grants. Funds can be used for a variety of costs.
