Riverfront Downtown Urban Renewal Area
 

The City of Salem is committed to the revitalization and restoration of the downtown core.  The Downtown "Toolbox, "  Building Rehabilitation / Restoration Program, offers historic property and business owners the opportunity to make improvements to commercial or mixed-use buildings located in the Riverfront Downtown Urban Renewal Area.    

Funds are available as low-interest loans and matching, reimbursement grants.  Funds can be used for a variety of costs.
