| SHA is committed to providing safe, decent and affordable housing to individuals and families in Salem and Keizer, Oregon, who face income or other barriers to a better quality of life. SHA offers housing support through a variety of programs and services and strives to educate citizens about the core services offered, and to share how SHA is working with other organizations to build a stronger community. Did you know? Salem Housing Authority participates on the Marion County Continuum of Care/Affordable Housing Task Force, a coalition of both community and faith-based organizations working to assess the nature and extent of housing concerns in Marion County. The task force has begun working on strategies to identify homeless and at-risk persons and has engaged in a planning process to meet those needs. Goals and objectives outlined in the Ten-year Plan will help identify new resources to meet gaps in service delivery to assist persons in ending their homelessness or housing crisis.
