You will enjoy painting a portrait of either a landscape, floral, animal seascape or still life. In order to attend this class online, you will need a laptop computer, desk computer with camera and microphone, smartphone, or tablet. Class will be held utilizing GoToMeeting. After students have registered for class, instructor Bridget Miller will send more information via email or phone. Last date to register for class is the Friday before each Tuesday class.

Acrylic Basics on Demand - Center 50+ online classVirtual Meeting

In this class recording you’ll learn the fundamentals of painting with acrylic medium; Types of Materials and Supplies, Techniques, Color Theory, Styles, Terms, Composition and More. Instructor Brigitte will demonstrate a complete painting of a pear. You’ll need a computer, smartphone or tablet to view your on-demand class recording, which is about an hour and a half in length. It can be played at your own convenience, as many times as you wish, until July 1, 2021. Within two business days after registering, you’ll receive an email with the class recording link. You do not have to buy any art supplies before you view the recording. The instructor will contact you to talk about an art supply list. This class is the pre-requisite for on-line Acrylic Art classes offered by instructor Brigitte Miller.

Water/Wastewater Task Force6:30 p.m.8:00 p.m.Virtual Meeting

The Water-Wastewater Task Force was established in 1993 to advise the Public Works Department and City Council on utility rate setting and to review the utility code. Every other year, this task force reviews a utility rate proposal and makes a recommendation on water, wastewater, and stormwater rates to the City Council. The rate proposal is developed with the assistance of an experienced consultant and is based on City Council policy adopted in the cost of service analysis. The policy framework of the cost of service is reviewed every four years.
