Boot Scoot and Brew Music Festival on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Salem Riverfront Park Amphitheater will include an entire day (11a.m.-10p.m.) of fantastic music. This year we are so excited to add Catnip Brothers.

“The Catnip Brothers, from Portland Oregon, play Western swing music from the 1940’s and 1950’s. Led by guitarist and singer Pete Krebs, the band features Rusty Blake and Brother Ian Miller on guitars, Brent Martens on bass, Jeremy Wakefield on steel guitar, and Nat’l Swing Fiddle Champion James Mason. The band formed in 2008 and has long been popular with the regional swing dance community, as well as fans of older-style jazz and country from an earlier era.”
