Middle school teens will discuss Dragon Pearl by Yoon Ha Lee from the 2025-2026 OBOB* list for 6-8th grades. Free; snacks provided. Teens should read this month's title before the book club meet-up. Print and downloadable copies are available for check out from the library. Our focus is discussing the book and its themes; this does not replace or supplement OBOB question practice. *OBOB - Oregon Battle of the Books is an annual competition for youth in grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Students in these grades read from a selected list of titles and then compete in fast-paced trivia show-downs with other teams. To learn more about OBOB, please go to the program website.
