Community Celebration - Sunday Hours at Salem Public Library Return!

Join a celebration as Sunday hours at the Main Library return! Expanded service is made possible by the Livability Levy, passed by voters in May 2025. In appreciation for the community support, there will be treats, music, and speeches in Loucks Auditorium, supported by the Salem Public Library Foundation. Face painter Aunt Toni will be available in Children's Corner on Floor 2. Free. Drop in.

  • 10:45-11:30 a.m. - String Theory
  • 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. - Mel Fuller and her Fiddle Friends
  • 12:15-1 p.m. - Rondalla Sentimiento Latino from Enlace

Beginning November 10, the Main Library, 585 Liberty St. SE, will add evening hours Tuesday through Thursday. The Library will also be open on Sunday. New hours will be:

  • 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
