Salem Parks

The pride and joy of any town is the public park system. Salem boasts hidden gems located inside neighborhoods, larger community parks with reservable areas for weddings, reunions, company picnics, and athletic tournaments, plus special event parks for concerts, festivals, movies, and run/walk events. Salem is fortunate to have historical sites and park features not found anywhere this side of the Mississippi. Salem's thriving volunteer base works in tandem, contributing assistance to support these wonderful City resources.

Clark Creek Park is a neighborhood park with shade trees, grass fields for playing frisbee or kicking a ball around. The park has a playground* with seating and a multi-sport court with 3 basketball hoops and a tennis net. The hard surface pathways wind through the park. A small, marked parking lot is available with 2 pedestrian bridges that cross over the creek into the west side of the park.

*The playground will receive upgrades as part of the Safety and Livability Bond that Salem voters approved in November 2022. Upgrades will take place through fiscal year 2032. More information can be found at the Safety and Livability Bond page.
