Salem Parks

The pride and joy of any town is the public park system. Salem boasts hidden gems located inside neighborhoods, larger community parks with reservable areas for weddings, reunions, company picnics, and athletic tournaments, plus special event parks for concerts, festivals, movies, and run/walk events. Salem is fortunate to have historical sites and park features not found anywhere this side of the Mississippi. Salem's thriving volunteer base works in tandem, contributing assistance to support these wonderful City resources.

Brush College Park is a largely shaded neighborhood park containing soft trails for walking, a grass field, benches at the playground*, horseshoe pits, and a drop-in use shelter with 6 picnic tables. There are two marked parking areas.

*Brush College Park playground will be receiving upgrades as part of the Safety and Livability Bond passed by Salem voters in November of 2022. Upgrades throughout the city are taking place starting in fiscal year 2023 through fiscal year 2032. More information can be found at the Safety and Livability Bond page.
