SALEM, Ore. — On January 22, 2026, a search warrant was served at 1975 Church Street SE in connection with an ongoing investigation involving Chris Dolton, 23, of Salem.

Salem SWAT and Felony Crimes Unit Detectives served the warrant at Dolton's residence and collected several pieces of evidence. Detectives interviewed Dolton and others at the residence. The investigation remains ongoing, and no charges have been filed in connection with this case at this time.

Dolton was lodged at Marion County Correctional Facility on three outstanding arrest warrants, one of which was related to a weapons offense case investigated by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
