Engineers, builders, developers, contractors, architects, planners, landscapers and municipal crews are invited to attend the 8th annual Erosion and Stormwater Management Summit. Presentations will cover a variety of topics including:
Best management practices
Pervious pavement test project results
Lessons learned in green street maintenance
Low impact development inspections
Retrofit projects, and more.
The training will be held on Tues., Jan. 29, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Keizer Civic Center, 930 Chemawa Road NE, Keizer.
Attendees can earn up to 6 credit hours of training. Early-bird registration is available. Pricing is $50 per person for those who sign up before Dec. 21. Registration is $75 per person after that.
The City of Salem is a co-host of the event along with its Mid-Willamette Outreach Group partners: City of Keizer, the City of Albany, the City of Corvallis, Marion County, and the Marion Soil and Water Conservation District. The Mid-Willamette Outreach Group collaborates on education and outreach opportunities to help the municipalities meet their Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit requirements.
