Boards and Commissions Public Meeting Changes Due to COVID-19

​Virtual meetings. Effective April 27, 2020, all advisory boards and commission meetings will be entirely virtual until further notice. All members will participate remotely.

Real-time remote viewing of these meetings is available online on one of the City of Salem's YouTube channels.

Public testimony may be provided in advance of the meeting by email. Email directly to the staff liaisons or provide written comment by mail.

No in-person public comment. In-person public comment is temporarily suspended at meetings. On April 16, 2020, the Governor issued an Executive Order to preserve civic engagement and essential local services. The order encourages local governments to continue their work and hold public meetings, waiving in-person requirements for public testimony when testimony can be provided by other means.
