City Seeks Applicants for Boards and Commissions

​The City of Salem is seeking to fill vacancies on various boards and commissions. If you'd like to play a role in City governance or have an interest in specific City activities, one of these positions may be for you.

Over the years, the Salem City Council has set up an extensive system of resident groups to advise them on specific subject areas. Current vacancies cover a wide range of topics including services to older residents, city budget, traffic, downtown business, culture and tourism, housing, human rights, parks and recreation, planning, public art, the library, and West Salem Redevelopment.
