Apply for a Construction Maintenance Parking Permit

If you are doing construction work and want to place construction vehicles, a dumpster, or other non-construction container in on-street parking spaces, you will need a construction maintenance permit. You may also need a work in the right-of-way permit.

Permit application process

To apply for a construction maintenance parking permit, you must submit a construction maintenance parking permit application form to the Permit Application Center.

The application will be reviewed to ensure that adequate spaces on the block remain open if your application is approved. The review process may take up to 48 hours, and you will be contacted with the results.

If your application is approved, you will need to pick up and pay for the permits in person at the Permit Application Center.

Construction moratorium

All new construction activities that will block streets, block parking, or close sidewalks within the Downtown Parking District will not be allowed from the Monday before Thanksgiving through January 2nd.
