Draft Plan Available for Bush’s Pasture Park and Deepwood Estate Gardens

Bush's Pasture Park

Bush's Pasture Park

We're working to finish the Cultural Landscape Management Plan for Bush's Pasture Park and Deepwood Gardens. You can help by sharing your thoughts with us.

Over the past several months, the Plan has been crafted through input from Salem community members. They have provided that input through surveys, stakeholder meetings, neighborhood meetings, and emails.

The draft Plan provides both a cultural and historical overview, a comprehensive management plan, and steps to move forward into the future for these two iconic properties.

Please review the draft Cultural Landscape Management Plan and take a survey that asks for your thoughts on the overall guidance of the draft plan. The survey is available through July 5, 2021.

You can also attend one of these listed meetings  where your input can be heard. All meetings are open to the public. Agendas can be found on the City Calendar page.

  • Salem Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, July 8, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.
  • South Central Association of Neighbors (SCAN), July 14, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.
  • City Council, July 26, 2021, 6:00 p.m. via Zoom.
