You won't want to miss this trio of family-friendly activities happening at the Salem Civic Center this weekend. Come in costume and prepare for fun.

From 2:00-4:00 p.m., your Salem Public Library hosts a Very Scary Halloween Mansion. Thrills and chills wait around every corner for elementary-aged visitors in this scary and creative Halloween House designed by the members of the library's Teen Advisory Board. Visits are free and end with a special Halloween treat.

From 2:00-4:00 p.m., your Salem Public Library will share the latest design plans for the upgraded Salem Public Library at a community open house. Meet the design team. Share your thoughts on finishes and colors.

From 4:00-6:00 p.m., your Salem Police Department is hosting our 14th Annual Halloween Dress Rehearsal!  Every year on the Saturday before Halloween, we invite kids to try on their costumes and come to the police station to "rehearse" being safe on Halloween night. Our officers will engage the kids at safety stations to go over important reminders. Then, our amazing partners will have games and activities to round out the fun! This year, K-9 Farrokh will be attending and posing for pics with all the boys and ghouls. Don't miss it because it will be fang-tastic!
