The Library’s Teen Advisory Board is now taking applications!

The Salem Public Library Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is looking for more middle and high school-aged applicants interested in gaining leadership skills and volunteer hours while improving the Teen Scene area at Salem Public Library.

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of middle and high school-aged youth who work with Teen Services Librarian Sonja Somerville to help with teen and children's programs, raise funds for Teen Scene enhancement, read and review Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) of upcoming young adult books, and more.

Applications are due on Wednesday, August 7, are now available online and at the Teen Scene Ask Here Desk. New members will be seated in September, following interviews with Sonja Somerville and a team of current Teen Advisory Board members. More information is available from Sonja Somerville by email or phone, 503-588-6083.
