Little Big Band to Perform at Salem Public Library

Salem Public Library’s Fall Concert Series continues with a performance by Little Big Band on Friday, November 2 at 7 p.m. in Loucks Auditorium, 585 Liberty Street SE. Seating for this free concert will be available on a first-come, first-seated basis, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

This exciting eleven-piece little big band includes saxophones, trombones, trumpets, rhythm guitar, bass, and drums and features original takes on a wide range of music that is sure to delight audiences young and old. The band consists of many of the area’s brightest musicians and some of Salem-Keizer’s own local music teachers. The concert will feature jazz, drawing on different eras and styles: west coast cool jazz, bebop, hard-bop, funk, latin, and a few modern twists on pop tunes.
