A park master plan is currently underway for Woodmansee Park located at 4629 Sunnyside Road SE in south Salem. The second of three open houses is now open through October 19, 2020. Three design options are now available for review and input through an online survey.
The Woodmansee Park Master Plan Update looks at how current park uses can be enhanced and improved. We are asking for feedback on the design options to guide the work of updating the park master plan. Feedback can be provided by visiting the second open house, viewing the concepts and taking the online survey.
Earlier this summer, we asked the community to tell us how they use the park and their vision for the future. These survey responses helped us form the three design options now available for review. Read more about this information on the Woodmansee Park Master Plan Update web page.
Woodmansee Park is a developed community park. We are updating the park’s master plan and at the same time, coordinating improvements to the Aquifer Storage and Recovery System (ASR) located in the park. The ASR serves as a backup drinking water system for the City. As part of the City’s continuing commitment to provide safe and resilient drinking water, the ASR will soon be improved and expanded. To follow the schedule of these improvements, please visit the ASR web page.
Visit our second open house today! Take the survey available now through October 19, 2020.
