NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALEM, OREGON ORDINANCE BILL NO. 11-19 RELATING TO THE CREATION OF A TAX ON WAGES EARNED; CREATING SRC CHAPTER 39; AND ORDINANCE BILL NO 12-19 RELATING TO THE CREATION OF AN OPERATIONS FEE, AMENDING SRC 70.250; AND CREATING SRC CHAPTER 45
The City of Salem City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Salem City Council Chambers, Civic Center, 555 Liberty Street SE, Room 240, Salem, Oregon 97301 to receive testimony regarding Ordinance Bill No. 11-19 relating to a tax on wages earned, and Ordinance Bill No. 12-19 relating to an operations fee. Prior to the hearing, any person may file written comments at the City Recorder’s Office, 555 Liberty Street SE, Room 205, Salem, Oregon, 97301 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (local time) or by e-mailing [email protected]. The staff report addressing each ordinance will be available in the City of Salem Recorder’s Office, Civic Center, 555 Liberty Street SE, Room 205, Salem, Oregon 97301, 503-588-6097 on or after August 8, 2019 during regular business hours. Copies of the staff report will be provided at a reasonable cost. The staff report will also be online no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2019
