On Tuesday, September 18, from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. at Pringle Community Hall, 606 Church Street SE, City staff and project consultants will present the draft master plan for Riverfront Park .

Community input from two previous public meetings and over 1,600 online survey responses have identified the importance of keeping open spaces, natural features, and views at the park. Concepts included in the draft plan will enhance river access, restore the river bank, maintain the openness of the meadow and views of the bridge, provide new bathrooms, add parking, and create a new performance area with a covered stage and amphitheater.

Comments continue to be welcomed, and may lead to changes to the proposed plan. Comments and questions can be sent to City of Salem Publics Work.
