Kids from two to 14 years old can learn the world’s most popular sport, soccer, in multiple ways.
Lead by Recreation Leaders, soccer camps provide participants with a week of learning basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and playing through various games and scrimmages. Camps typically take place in the summer. Fee waivers are available for qualified Salem residents and more information can be found by clicking on the Registration Information button.
Lead by Recreation Leaders, the mini soccer program meets once a week for 5 weeks. This program is held on soccer fields in our larger parks with restrooms. Each week participants will work on their soccer skills, play soccer games and scrimmage. Mini Soccer is offered in the spring, summer, and fall. Kidz Love Soccer
A partnership, Kidz Love Soccer (KLS) has been dedicated to teaching children soccer in a nurturing, recreational environment since 1979. A typical session experience includes age-appropriate activities such as skill demonstrations, fun games, and instructional scrimmages.
