State Street Corridor Project Plan Adopted by City Council

​The City Council voted to adopt State Street Corridor Plan project on Monday, July 16, following a public hearing. Specifically, the Council voted to adopt the staff recommendation for a new Hybrid street design for State Street and two new mixed-use zones, with the following revisions: 

  • Reduce the maximum building height adjacent to historic districts
  • Reduce the parking requirement for retail uses
  • Look into purchasing a park near 21st Street
