Movies in the Park begins July 11

On July 11, the City of Salem's free Movies in the Park series opens in Riverfront Park with Napoleon Dynamite.

Movies in the park gives you a chance to spend time with family and friends or just take a break and enjoy a summer evening. Join us under the stars to watch family-friendly movies on a 24-foot screen in the Riverfront Park Amphitheater.

Movies start at dusk. You are encouraged to bring your blankets, low-back chairs, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks. Movies are captioned. There is no charge to attend; however, donations are welcome.

Parking is available in the Carousel parking lot and at the north end of Riverfront Park.
