Through direct support and partnership, the City provides recreation activities, service learning opportunities, and other programs for the young people of Salem and their families.

Families with toddlers and preschoolers are invited to join Youth Services staff for special monthly LIVE storytimes online. Early, literacy-rich storytimes are fun ways for families to help their babies, toddlers, and preschoolers get ready to learn to read when they start elementary school.
