Apply for a Construction Maintenance Parking Permit

If you are doing construction work and need to use on-street parking spaces for construction vehicles, dumpsters, or other containers, you must get a construction maintenance parking permit. In some cases, you may also need a permit to work in the right-of-way.

How to Apply for a Permit

  1. Submit an Application
    Complete and submit the Construction Maintenance Parking Permit application form to the Customer Service Center (440 Church St SE, 5th Floor).

  2. Application Review
    Your application will be reviewed to make sure enough parking spaces remain open on the block if your application is approved. The review process may take up to 48 hours. You will be contacted with the results once the review is complete.

  3. Pick Up and Pay for Your Permit
    If your application is approved, you must visit the Customer Service Center (440 Church St SE, 5th Floor) in person to pick up and pay for your permit.

Construction Moratorium

All new construction activities that will block streets, block parking, or close sidewalks within the Downtown Parking District will not be allowed from the Monday before Thanksgiving through January 2.
