1. Go to utilityaccount.cityofsalem.net using a web browser.
2. Click the SIGN UP button in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Fill in the required fields and any optional fields you want. A required field will have an asterisk (*) after the description.
   • If you have not received a new bill from sprypoint or don’t know your new account number:
     • Click the “Find my Account Number” link for help.
     • See the example of the old bill for guidance on identifying your account number.

     Note: To scroll the page down - use your scroll wheel, or find the window scroll area on the far right edge of your browser window.

     • You will then use your old account number to find your new account number.
     • Enter your old account number in the “Look Up New Account Number” widget at the bottom of the screen to find your new account number.
   • If you have already received a new bill from sprypoint:
     • See the example of the new bill to find your new account number.
   
4. Once your Account Number and Total Amount Due On Your Last Bill have been validated the account name will populate and show as “Verified.” Agree with the Terms and Conditions then click on the Sign Up button to complete the form.
5. After clicking Sign Up you will receive a confirmation message at the bottom of the screen.
6. Check the email you used to register and click the link to create your account. The link will be at the very bottom of the email under the Spanish translation.
7. The link from your email will take you to the Registration screen in your web browser. Enter your email and select a password that meets the requirements listed in the “Policy” section at the bottom of the screen then click the Register button.
8. You are now logged in to your utility account customer portal.
