You can donate money in one of the following ways.

Salem Public Library Foundation

The Salem Public Library Foundation is an independent organization that helps raise money for the Salem Public Library. The funds from the Foundation support special projects and programs that improve Library services.

Friends of the Salem Public Library

The Friends of the Salem Public Library support cultural and educational programs. They also promote the growth and improvement of services at the Salem Public Library.

 

Book Donations

You can donate books to the Friends of the Salem Public Library at their store inside the Main Library at 585 Liberty Street SE. The Friends of the Library can only accept donations when they have enough space for sorting and storage. Please arrange your donation in advance by calling the Friends’ Bookstore at 503-362-1755. The Friends of the Library will provide a receipt for your donation.
