Teen Advisory Board
The Salem Public Library Teen Advisory Board is a program that helps middle and high school students develop leadership skills.
Throughout the year, members of the Teen Advisory Board work with the Teen Librarian to:
- Help with events and activities for children and teens
- Raise money for projects that improve the Teen Scene
- Work on other projects to enhance library services for teens and the library overall
- Decorate the Teen Scene
- Give feedback on Teen Scene materials and activities
Membership is open to a limited number of middle school and high school students through an application process.

Applications will be considered from students entering grades 6 through 11. After a review of written applications, each finalist will be invited to a live panel interview to complete the selection process.
