Are you looking for a speaker for a Lunch-and-Learn event, an employee meeting, or an Earth Day presentation? The City of Salem offers presentations on the Clean Streams Initiative to meet your business needs. A member of the Clean Streams Team will come to speak about important topics such as rainfall statistics in Salem, common sources of stream pollution, and actions that everyone can take at home and in their business to reduce pollution in local streams.

Erosion Control and Stormwater Management Training
The City of Salem partners with the Mid-Willamette Outreach Group to offer an annual training on erosion control, best management practices, and stormwater related topics. The training takes place in January and is a valuable training opportunity for home builders, developers, engineers, architects, landscapers, construction contractors, and municipal staff.
