Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of preventable deaths. The PulsePoint Responder app alerts people trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, to nearby cardiac emergencies. This allows bystanders to provide life-saving CPR during the critical minutes before emergency medical teams arrive.

Be Alerted to Nearby CPR Events

Download the PulsePoint Responder app to receive alerts about cardiac emergencies near you. The app is available for both Android and Apple iOS devices.

 

How It Works

The app notifies you when a CPR event occurs within ¼ mile of your location.

 

Find AEDs Nearby

The app also shows a map of the emergency location and any nearby registered Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs).

 

Update AED Locations

Help others by keeping AED information up to date. The PulsePoint AED companion app lets you upload the location of public AEDs. You can even include a photo of the AED to make it easier for responders to find.
