Alcohol Policy for City-owned Parks
Alcohol may be permitted in reservable areas of City-owned parks as part of a private or community/public event when a Facility Use Permit and Application has been approved.
Important Note: When alcohol is approved as part of the park reservation, person who is either the Permittee or the On-site Contact Name is required to have a copy of the approved Facility Use Permit and Application at the reservation/event.
Private Reservations
For private reservations approved to have or serve alcohol, the alcohol must:
- Not exceed a 14 percent (14%) alcoholic content by volume;
- Be packaged in containers less than kegs or pony kegs;
- Be consumed in, and stay within 100 feet of, the reservation space.
Community/Public Events
Alcohol sales may be requested as part of a community/public event held in Bush’s Pasture Park and Riverfront Park*.
Additional requirements for alcohol sales include submission of a:
- Short-Term Concessionaire Permit Application
- Certificate of Insurance
- Copy of approved permits and licensing from the Oregon Liquor and Cannibis Commission (“OLCC”) of which the permittee listed on the Facility Use Permit and Application is responsible for being aware of, and complying with, all OLCC rules and regulations including licensing requirements.
