Airport Development

We are planning for continued development and activity at the Airport, guided in part by the Business Plan.

The Airport Master Plan is a long-term strategic document that outlines the development of airport land and facilities. Its primary goal is to ensure that the Salem-Willamette Valley Airport (SLE) is prepared to meet future needs, adhering to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards while aligning with community interests. The Master Plan will propose future improvements aimed at enhancing operational safety, airport user needs, supporting community economic development goals, and achieving financial resiliency.

Airport Rules and Regulations

These rules have been adopted by ordinance by the Salem City Council. The Salem City Council may adopt amendments, additions, deletions or corrections to these AR&R. The provisions of this document are intended for the safe, orderly and efficient operation of the Airport.
