SLE ID Media

Allows for perimeter access to all general aviation hangars, surrounding taxiways and ramps.

Application and Renewal Fees

To obtain an SLE ID Media, there is a one-time application fee of $50.00. Renewing the ID costs $35.00. Replacing a lost or damaged ID costs $50.00.

Expiration and Renewal

The SLE ID Media is valid for twenty-four months from the date of issuance. It is important to renew the ID before it expires to maintain uninterrupted access to the general aviation areas.

Endorsements

D– Driver endorsement is for individuals who have completed SLE training to operate vehicles in movement areas. This endorsement allows the holder to safely drive in areas where aircraft operate, such as taxiways and runways.

E- Escort endorsement allows the ID Media holder to escort unbadged individuals who do not have their own ID Media. This ensures that unbadged individuals can access certain areas under proper supervision.

How to Apply for a Salem-Willamette Valley Airport ID Media security badge

Please submit paper application directly to the Badging and Credentialing Office This office is located in the Airport Administration Office at the Main Terminal, 2990 25th Street SE, Salem, Oregon.

Identification Requirements

When submitting your application, one piece of valid, government-issued photo identification is required.
