Airport Rules and Regulations
These rules have been adopted by ordinance by the Salem City Council. The Salem City Council may adopt amendments, additions, deletions or corrections to these Airport Rules and Regulations. The provisions of this document are intended for the safe, orderly and efficient operation of the Airport.

Hangar and Aircraft Insurance Requirements
Airport tenants are required by their lease agreements and Chapter 9 of the Salem Revised Code (SRC) to hold a minimum level of insurance. Coverage limits depend on the category of operation that the leaseholder is conducting at the airport. These can be found in
SRC 9 Appendix I.
In addition to providing liability insurance, the lessee, concessionaire, or licensee agrees to indemnify and hold the City harmless from all claims and liabilities occasioned by the activities arising out of or connected with the lease, concession agreement, or license. Your certificate of insurance must contain indemnification language naming “the City of Salem, its Officers, Employees, and Agents” as additional insured.
The City of Salem must also be listed as the certificate holder with the following information:
