This project will update the existing street cross sections withing the project limits to better accommodate all user. Project features will include installation of new curbs, sidewalk, compliant Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramps, bicycle facilities, street resurfacing, striping updates, signal improvements, water main replacement, and stormwater facilities.

Harper Houff Peterson Righellis, Inc (HHPR) has been hired to complete the design

The project limits on State Street are from 12th Street to 17th Street.

The project is currently in the design phase. Additional information will be posted as the project progresses. Construction is planned to start in 2028.

Disruptions to traffic and users will be minimal during the project design phase. Vehicle access will be impacted when construction is underway, and delays and/or detours should be expected.
